Project overview
A textile-based visualisation of ethnographic research exploring sheep farms in the Scottish Highlands near Ben Nevis, the highest point in the UK. Each physical scarf represents one of the three colours the sheep were marked with, while also visualising statistics from the research journey, including time, elevation gain, coordinates, and more. Each set of sheep illustrations shows the main poses I had the opportunity to observe and photograph (it was during a storm, so they didn’t seem keen on long walks). Many thanks to my friend for modelling for the photoshoot for this project
